This is a Request for Information (RFI) for a short-term bridge contract to ensure continuity of critical services at the Low Background Infrared (LBIR) facility in Gaithersburg, MD. The anticipated period of performance consists of six one-month options, to be exercised as needed, and currently no funds are available for this acquisition. The facility provides specialized calibration and testing services for infrared detectors and optical components in a 20 K background environment.
