The urgent action will provide the design, manufacture, test, qualification, integration, and other support necessary to fully integrate the Long Range Standoff (LRSO) Weapon System (WS) Carriage Equipment for the B-52H bomber platform with the LRSO Cruise Missile. The LRSO Carriage Equipment is required to meet schedule for Developmental Test and Evaluation (DT&E) phase and Aircraft Monitor and Control (AMAC) phase. These phases are necessary to achieve Milestone C and Initial Operating Capability (IOC). Due to schedule challenges, the LRSO program schedule is in a "day for day" slip for conducting EMD flight tests on surrogate carriage equipment that pushes an unacceptable risk into AMAC nuclear certification.
