THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION, NOR REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS/QUOTATIONS. NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF A SOLICITATION, AS ONE DOES NOT EXIST. The 162d Wing Contracting Office located in Tucson, AZ is seeking qualified sources for a potential future requirement. The purpose of this request for information is to gain knowledge of potentially qualified sources and their size classifications (i.e. Small/Large business, HUBzone, 8(a), etc.). No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information to this request for information, nor any subsequent exchanges. The anticipated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333923 with an associated U.S. Small Business Administration size standard of 1,250 Employees. The anticipated Product Service Code (PSC) is J049. Please identify if you believe a more appropriate NAICS/PSC exists. The potential requirement is to perform annual inspections and load testing in accordance with Air Force Instruction Standard (AFI) 91-203, and per the attached schedule. Contractor shall provide a detailed inspection, load test, and hook reports that pertain to each item inspected, including a description of needed repairs if any. All work is to be performed in accordance with the objectives below: Hoists. The contractor shall perform annual inspection and load testing in accordance with Air Force Instruction Standard (AFI) 91-203, Table 35.24 and Table 35.25 and per the attached schedule. Contractor shall provide a detailed inspection, load test, and hook report that pertain to each item inspected, including a description of needed repairs if any. Hooks. The contractor shall perform annual inspection and load testing in accordance with Air Force Instruction Standard (AFI) 91-203, Chapter 35 and per the attached schedule. Contractor shall provide a detailed inspection, load test, and hook report that pertain to each item inspected, including a description of needed repairs if any. Slings. The contractor shall perform annual inspection and load testing in accordance with Air Force Instruction Standard (AFI) 91-203, Chapter 35 and per the attached schedule. Contractor shall provide a detailed inspection, load test, and hook report that pertain to each item inspected, including a description of needed repairs if any. Repairs. The contractor shall provide a description and an estimate for any needed repairs found during the annual inspections. The contractor shall make no repairs without prior approval from the Contracting Officer. The determination to approve repairs will be at the sole discretion of the Government upon the determination of fair and reasonable pricing. A not-to-exceed line item may be added to the contract to cover the repairs.
