Solicitation F9D0AW3003A001 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023?01. This acquisition is being solicited as a total small business set?aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 721110 with a small business size standard of $40 million. Only one (1) award will be made as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation. The 105th Airlift Wing is looking for pricing for a three day “get-away” weekend that will facilitate a relaxing and romantic honeymoon like setting for couples to strengthen the martial bond. (See attached for full details) The contract will be awarded based on the lowest price that meets or exceeds the requirements outlined in this announcement, which is deemed responsible in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation and whose Quote conforms to the solicitation requirements. It is a market research tool being used to determine potential and eligible business firms that are capable of providing the service described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Request for Quote. The NAICS for this requirement is 721110 Hotels (except Casino Hotels) and Motels. All interested firms are encouraged to respond, regardless of business size. The results of this Sources Sought will be utilized to determine if any Small Business Set-aside opportunities exist. All Small Business Set-aside categories will be considered. In addition, this market research tool is being used to identify potential and eligible firms, of all sizes, prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a solicitation. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The 105th Airlift Wing in Newburgh, NY currently has a need for accommodations for our upcoming Three-Day Retreat for Marriage Enrichment of airmen and their spouse’s event. It is an event designed specifically for our military couples to facilitate a relaxing and romantic honeymoon like setting for couples to strengthen the marital bond. The dates would be 24-26 February 2023. Accommodation would include a two-night stay, (estimated 20 rooms) a dedicated meeting room, 6 total meals, audio-visual equipment, and incidentals. Attached is a detailed list of all requirements. All interested offerors should provide a brief capability statement, which shall include, as a minimum, product literature, contractors’ business size and socioeconomic status, Cage Code and DUNS number, and a point of contact with name, title, phone and fax number and email address.
