The 439th Contracting Flight located at Westover Air Reserve Base (WARB), Chicopee, Massachusetts is seeking capabilities packages of potential sources to provide products for the following requirement: The 439th Civil Engineering Squadron has a mission-critical requirement for ARC Flash Protective Gear Kits (IAW AFMAN 32-1065, NFPA 70E, and UFC 3-560-01) to support local training, and also serve as deployable assets. ARC Flash Gear rated for 40cal/sq cm, 8cal/sq cm, and additional electrical-insulated gloves are essential for safe operations at Westover ARB, MA, and to deployments worldwide. Existing stock of ARC Flash Gear has degraded to a point where it is unserviceable. Please refer to attachment, "Salient Characteristics_Features_Arc Flash Gear" for a broken-down list of all components that comprise the whole of this requirement.
