Conference - Recruiter Training Event (Rooms & Banquet) THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE – THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT’S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE AWARD CONTRACT TO THE Q CENTER TO PROVIDE HOTEL ROOMS, CONFERENCE BREAK OUT ROOMS, AND AUDIO VISUAL. The HQAFRC Contracting Agency – HQAFRC/PK, Robins AFB, GA, announces the intent to award a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Q Center under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1): Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The anticipated period of performance will be for 5 days. An effort was made to compete this requirement between the Q Center, Crowne Plaza Hotel, and The National Conference Center. The Q Center was the only venue able to meet the requirements of appropriate quantity/block of available hotel rooms, adequate conference/ballroom/breakout room space, availability of the requested dates at the government per diem rate. For this reason, the Q Center is the only source available that meets the governments requirement. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. To be considered by the Government, interested parties must deliver their intent and capabilities to satisfy the Government's requirement to the Contracting Officer no later than 12:00 PM (Central Standard Time) on 1 November 2023. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
