Details and official solictation for this requirement is slated for released in the FY24 Fiscal Year. Renovate B1420 Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) Maintenance Shop to comply with the most recent version of the F-35 Lightning II Facilities Requirement Document (FRD) and NAS Fort Worth JRB F-35 Site Specific Activation Plan. Renovation includes installation of new epoxy floor finish; repair of existing overhead cranes, repair 12 overhead doors, removal of existing acoustic ceiling tiles; modification of existing Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC); install new radiant heat systems, fans, and equipment exhaust systems; installation of new lighting system; removal of interior gypsum board/metal stud walls, doors, flooring and ceilings, and installation of new walls, doors, vinyl tile flooring and suspended acoustical ceiling tile system as well as adjustments to HVAC ductwork and lighting in the office and training room spaces as necessary; demolition of existing bathrooms and installation of new Architectural Barriers Act (ABA) compliant bathrooms; expansion of break room and locker room spaces; repair of existing gutters and downspouts; replacement of existing exterior louvers and doors; modifications to the building electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems. Modify wet-pipe sprinkler system layout as necessary throughout the area of renovation to provide full sprinkler protection throughout the building. Remove and replace all existing fire alarm system components within the building. Work also includes the construction of covered AGE equipment storage yard; site and electrical utility modifications; replacement of existing oilwater separator. a. Contract type: Firm Fixed Price. Award shall be made utilizing Low Price Technically Acceptable Source Selection Procedures. b. The North American Industrial Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this project is 236220. The applicable small business size standard is $36.5M. c. A site visit is highly recommended. The Site Visit for this effort will be scheduled with the release of the solicitation. d. In accordance with FAR 36.204 and DFARS 236.204, the magnitude of construction for this requirement is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. e. Indicate in Section F the proposed number of calendar days required to complete performance following receipt of Notice to Proceed. f.
