This is a justification for a brand name aquisition which will be competed via NASASEWP. This is a JUSTIFICATION/synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the FederalAcquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. this announcement constitutes the only synopsis. All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be awarded a DoD contract. This exception to fair opportunity (brand-name justification), It will be competed via the NASA SEWP IDIQ contract. It incorporates FAR provisions and clauses in eect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2019-0. The Requirment is for Panasonic Toughpads as outlined in the attached Bill of Materials. All items must be TAA compliant in accordance with the FAR. DPAS rating is DO-A7. Anticipated Award Date is 16 April, 2021. Lt Col Sean Tucker has been appointed as Ombudsman. The purpose of the Ombudsman is to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriategovernment personnel. The Ombudsman does not participate in the preparation of solicitations, evaluation of proposals or source selection process and does not diminish the authority of the contracting oicer.
