SFS Robotic Targets
The Department of War, US Air Force, is conducting market research for ruggedized, autonomous, or remote-controlled robotic target systems to support live-fire tactical training at Vandenberg Space Force Base in Lompoc, CA. The systems must meet minimum specifications, including a top speed of 10 mph, 8 hours of continuous operation, and a remote control range of 100 meters. Target torsos must survive at least 3,000 rounds and be interchangeable without tools, with the vendor responsible for full installation and pre-delivery inspection.
