The purpose of this project is to out-source procurement of a complete overhead whole building Bridge Crane System. Provide a “turn-key” design, manufacture and installation of a free standing overhead bridge crane system for manipulating large equipment assets. Specifications: Rail System: Approximately 150ft of ASCE 30# runway beam each side with hook bolts and splice plates sized for 25ft spacing between columns and cranes spaced for hooks no closer than 20ft. Conductor bar mounted along all runways. Include columns with required anchoring to support all runways. Contractor to verify all dimensions and 5 Ton Bridge System: Two 5 ton bridge cranes (preferred model MTS050663WH1 top running single girder bridge crane) approximately 63ft span, Machined and hardened 6in end truck wheels, not cast, 450 - 550 BHN, Dual drive end trucks with bridge speed of 70 FPM, Two 1/2 HP bridge motors, Bridge brakes as required by OSHA, Lockable disconnect on bridge as required by OSHA, Mainline disconnect operated from the pendant, Single fused transformer for all controls. 5 Ton Cranes: 5 Ton (one per crane) ACL wire rope hoist with 20ft of lift, Hoist speed of 24 FPM, Trolley speed of 43 FPM, Drop lugs and rail sweeps as required, Bumpers as required, Trolley brake as required. 3 Ton Bridge system: Three 3 ton bridge cranes, preferred model MTS030563WH1 top running single girder bridge crane, Approximately 63 span, Machined and hardened 5in end truck wheels, not cast, 450 - 550 BHN, Dual drive end trucks with bridge speed of 70 FPM, Two 1/2 HP bridge motors, Bridge brakes as required by OSHA, Lockable disconnect on bridge as required by OSHA, Mainline disconnect operated from the pendant, Single fused transformer for all controls. 3 Ton Cranes: Single fused transformer for all controls, Hoist speed of 24 FPM, Trolley speed of 43 FPM, Drop lugs and rail sweeps as required, Bumpers as required, Trolley brake as required. Additional requirements: Pendant operated horn, Strobe light activated on motion, Dual power collectors, Variable speed control on bridge, Variable speed controls on trolleys, Variable Speed hoist, Independent festoon for pendant, Paint and primer columns and runways.
