These funds are gener... This RFP is issued by the Air Force Nonappropriated Fund Purchasing Office (AFNAFPO). All contracts, if any, awarded through AFNAFPO are funded wholly with Nonappropriated funds. These funds are generated through user fees and charges at Air Force morale, welfare and recreation (MWR) programs worldwide. They are not appropriations from Congress or “taxpayer” dollars. AFSVC requires an Assessment and Authorization (A&A) of AFSVC Information Systems (IS). AFI 17-130, Cybersecurity Program Management and AFMAN 17-1301, Computer Security (COMPUSEC), defines Information Systems (IS) as “a set of information resources organized for the collection, storage, processing, maintenance, use, sharing, dissemination, disposition, display, or transmission of information. Systems include automated information system (AIS) applications, enclaves, outsourced IT-based processes, and platform IT interconnections.” Air Force (AF) Information Technology (IT) includes but is not limited to: Information Systems (Major Applications & Enclaves), Platform Information Technology (PIT) & PIT systems, IT Services (Internal & External), and IT Products (Software, Hardware, Firmware, and Applications
