The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, supervision, and equipment to complete painting, signage, and striping at Travis AFB. All work shall conform to specifications outlined in the contract, the line item task listing description, and in accordance with (IAW) the Traffic Engineering for Better Signs and Markings SDDCTEA Pamphlet 55-14, the UFC 3-120-01 Design (Sign standard), UFGS 09 90 00, (Paints and coatings), the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and California MUTCD standards. The TWCF Paint, Signs and Striping pre-bid site visit is scheduled for 25 June 2020, @ 08:30 PDT. For individuals needing base access, if not previously accomplished, please email their full name (as written on state ID or driver's license), and their date of birth to bailey.calico@us.af.mil at least 48 hours in advance of the site visit (23 June 2020 @ 0830). Requests submitted after this date/time will not be accepted. To account for visitor's center processing time, please allow at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled site visit date to obtain your pass. Once you've entered the base, please standby in the building 549 parking lot for either myself or Mr. Bryan Armstrong, Contracting Officer who will account for you on the attendee list before proceeding to site. A reminder that all attendees were required to RVSP, regardless of needing base access for this site visit. Once accounted for at the building 549 parking lot, we will proceed to sites in our own vehicles. For expected COVID-19 rules of engagement please bring a mask for each company person and be ready to utilize it upon request from a government attendee and certainly any time you deem suitable for yourself. Individuals not carrying a mask will not be allowed to attend the site visit. Base policy is to wear a mask at all times when social distancing cannot be exercised, such as communal areas or tight spaces such as hallways, etc. During the site-walk, if there are any questions please email them to Lt Bailey Calico.
