The Cobra 1340 Lathe has the same power output, input, and tooling attachments are the same as what the unit previously had. It would be plug and play with the existing tooling and power that we have in shop already. Power outputs are very limited in our building and a different machine would require civil engineering to to run new power sources. Also, the Cobra 1340 are what is used throughout the Air Force, and in the metals tech school, so is it what our shop workers are familiar with so no additional training would be required.
