The 22nd Contracting Squadron is searching for qualified vendors who can provide: Cat-6/Fiber installation for 2 buildings on McConnell AFB As part of its market research, 22 CONS/PKA is issuing this Sources Sought to determine if there exist an adequate number of qualified interested contractors capable of providing the requirement. The Government may use the responses to this Sources Sought for information and planning purposes. This Sources Sought is only for the purpose of identifying potential sources as part of 22 CONS/PKA market research. No Solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy. Responses to this Sources Sought are not quotes on which the 22 CONS/PKA can issue any contract. This Sources Sought is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not itself constitute a Solicitation. The Government does not intend to award a contract based only on responses to this Sources Sought. All information received in response to this Sources Sought marked "Proprietary" will be protected and handled accordingly. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. Responses to the Sources Sought will not be returned. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Sources Sought. 22 CONS/PKA will not pay for information received in response to this Sources Sought. If your company is capable and interested, please send responses/capability statements with the subject heading McConnell AFB Cat 6 Rewiring. Contractor to engineer, furnish, install, and test (EFI&T) an upgrade of existing premises wiring or ISP infrastructure to new Cat-6 cabling for B1127. The layout is shown in Appendix C, Figure C-1, B1127 floor plan. The Contractor shall require to remove all the existing outdated and abandoned in-place Cat-3/Cat-5 premise wiring in this building. Contractor to engineer, furnish, install, and test (EFI&T) an upgrade of existing premises wiring or ISP infrastructure to new Cat-6 cabling for B1200. The layout is shown in Appendix C, Figure C-1 and Figure C-2, B1200 floor plan. The upgrade shall also include installation and termination of new 12-strand single-mode (SM) plenum-rated fiber backbone cable between the communication rooms (CR) 1st floor and 2nd floor. The Contractor shall require to remove all the existing outdated and abandoned-in-place Cat-3/Cat-5 premise wiring in this building.
