OC20578 is a Giddings and Lewis RGV8 pallet shuttle system that is utilized by both Giddings & Lewis (MAG) 5 Axis CNC Mills (OC20576 & OC20577). The assets are critical to production and cannot operate effectively if the pallet shuttle is down. In order to repair the RGV8 pallet shuttle system, the CINCRON cell needs to be retrofitted with a supportable control system. Due to the criticality of NC equipment, hardware components used for the control system shall be COTS items to lower lead time and expedite repair.
