Music Ministry International, Inc. 3) What is the schedule of the worship services and rehearsal times for both the Catholic and Protestant denomination? At this time, our Catholic Mass is Sunday at 0900 and our Protestant Service is on Sundays at 1100. We do have a choir director for the Catholic Mass. Although rehearsal times can change, the time that they currently meet for rehearsal is approximately 1 hour before service. 4) What type of organ is available for use at the chapel? The organ is an Allen organ. We have not used the organ for some time. The instrument may need repair. 5) What other instruments are available for use at the chapel aside from the piano and organ? There is an electronic drum set and we have volunteers who bring their violin/guitars for worship. The chapel also owns some guitars which are also available for use. 6) Are there music sheets available for use at the chapel? Who will fund for the CCLI certification of the music sheets? There are music sheets available for use at the chapel. The chapel will fund the CCLI certification of the music sheets. 7) What is the size of the choir for both the Catholic and Protestant denominations? The Choir for both services are approximately 5 members. The Protestant Service also has a children’s choir of approximately 10 members. 8) What is the estimated number of special and memorial services which may be rendered for the Catholic and Protestant denominations? We have an estimated 10-12 special and memorial services. 9) Is there a Music Director in place for both denominations? There is a Music Director in place for the Catholic Service. We are not exercising the option to renew the Music Director for the Protestant Service. Provide Worship Services Musician services IAW the PWS. Also see CSS for respones page and other specifics. *The contractor shall provide evidence of appropriate professional competence by means of comprehensive knowledge of a churchaccompanist (a minimum of 1 year experience as a volunteer or paid position in a church setting working directly with church musicians,directors and choirs). The contractor shall also have, a Bachelor’s in Music or a combination of education (music education, performance,or theory) and experience in a professional setting equaling no less than three (3) years. The contractor shall provide evidence of theserequirements by means of resume and transcripts. The resume shall include locations/venues, dates and information of a supervisor orperson of contact, such as the music minister. *The contractor must be able to play the following instruments: organ and piano. *The contractor must be able to sight-read music and play a variety of music to include but not limited to traditional (preludes, meditativeinstrumentals, postludes, praise choruses, congregational hmns, and classical music selections) and contemporary/inspirational styles of music according to the instruments’ capabilities. *The contractor must, be able to accompany traditional choirs and praise teams/bands. *Tinker AFB Chapel request sanitized resumes for review of musicians ability to play required genres of music, academic background,work experience, and accomplishments as pianist and organist.
