Extended to 12 Dec 19. QUESTION POSED: In the washer and dryer solicitation, the government is requesting topload, energy-star, washers. As of January 1, 2017, the energy star designation for commercial topload washers was discontinued. Frontload washer and some household models are still designated as energy star. Can you advise which washer you would like quoted? ANSWER: The current top load washers (energy star) in place are Speed Queen. Update-Please see technical exhibit and map added on 26 Nov 19.
