What's the distance (rough) from server to furthest camera? 3001 where the servers will be housed, 3.7 miles (roughly)/from the switch in each building to the furthest camera for each one, then it is roughly 250-300 ft. 1. Are network switches provided by Contractor or others? Contractor. See PWS, para 2.1: "The Contractor shall install all network switches and servers" 2. If Contractor to provide switches: do we need 1G or 10G SFP ports? Contractor shall provision the switches with the capability to meet the PWS' requirements. 3. If Contractor to provide switches: do you want each switch to support 2 SFP connections/ SFP ports or 4 SFP connections/ SFP ports? See answer for question 2. 4. Government cable will be terminated on a Fiber Optic Distribution Panel (FODP) in a Comm Room . Contractor is responsible to connect to Government's FO cable, install new internal cabling, network switches, servers and cameras. 7. Is the switch the DMARC point? FODP is the DEMARC point. 1) In provided file "Attch+2_Project+Overview.pdf", where is Building B3001G located? Can you please mark it? See attached revised Map 2) Is project sales tax exempt? Yes, but sales tax does apply to sub-contractors 3) Is there an existing pathway we can use for all fiber cabling requested in Solicitation to connect all buildings together? current plan includes that one building will require a conduit/fiber to be installed to the building the other buildings have pathway.contracror isn't responsible for running the conduit/fiber. 4) For indoor pathway do we need to use J-hooks or conduit? J-hooks 1) Please clarify the number of days required for storage of video. - Minimum 30 Days 2) Please clarify when video is to be recorded (recorded upon motion detection, recorded 24x7, recorded on time lapse, etc.) - 24/7 3) What is the desired frame rate of the recording (10 frames per second, 15 frames per second, 30 frames per second, etc.)? - 30 frames per second, 3 mega pixels in stairwell, 5 mega pixels for outdoors 4) What is the desired resolution of the recorded video? - 1080P HD This requirement seeks the purchase and installation of approximately 145 each indoor and outdoor rated dome cameras with night vision capabilities at the locations indicated in Attachment 2d of this solicitation. The Contractor shall be responsible for removing the old security cameras and identifying the necessary logistical requirements, configuration requirements, and integration requirements for all system components required to successfully execute this project.
