TITLE: F3T2MU3065AG01, Sole Source Acquisition for Linkless Ammunition Loading System (LALS) Parts The 4th Contracting Squadron, Seymour Johnson AFB, NC intends to award a sole source purchase order to Hydraulics International Incorporated (HII). HII shall manufacture and deliver the below replacement parts for the Air Force Material Command (AFMC) certified LALS, Part Number 02999-3. The parts shall be manufactured to the specifications required by Air Force part numbers and the drawing specifications provided by AFMC. As required by Technical Order 35D2-19-1, HII’s manufacturing of these parts has been approved by the LALS maintenance technician in concert with the cognizant engineer. All work shall be in accordance with Federal, State and base safety regulations, the original manufacturers’ recommendations, and qualification tested per USAF specifications. (3 EA) LEVER (P/N 23105-2) (1 EA) SHAFT BRAKE (P/N 23104-1) (4 EA) WASHER (P/N 23102-3) (2 EA) PILLOW BLOCK (P/N 23115-1) (1 EA) COLLAR (P/N 23021-2) (1 EA) HANDLE BRAKE (P/N 02182600) (1 EA) HOSE ASSEMBLY (P/N T1167-03-3FJ-3FJ-18.5) (4 EA) WASHER (P/N 23113-1) (2 EA) FRONT AXLE ASSY (P/N 23089-100) (2 EA) REAR AXLE ASSY (P/N 23090-100) (1 EA) SUPPORT BRAKE ROD (P/N 23112-1) APPLICABILITY OF AUTHORITY: This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. The closing date for this synopsis is 10 April 2023 at 2:00 P.M. EST.
