TITLE: F3T2EM9303AQ01, Sole Source Acquisition for EMS Equipment MX Service The 4th Contracting Squadron, Seymour Johnson AFB, NC intends to award a sole source purchase order to Phillips Corporation, Federal Division. Required items to be purchased are: This procurement will be for the purchase of services to perform Performance Assurance and Comprehensive Calibration Analysis (PA/CCA) for five Aircraft Metals Technology machines, model numbers include; 55100/30V, MINIMILL, UMC-750, VF-4, and ST-20. APPLICABILITY OF AUTHORITY: This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Phillips Corporation, Federal Division has proprietary rights to all OMAX and Haas products, maintenance agreements, and any associated factory certified service. Based on this information, it is recommended this requirement be a sole source purchase. Only one responsible source and no other supplies will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. The closing date for this synopsis is 06 January 2020 at 2:00 P.M EST.
