This is for market survey only; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis and no contract shall be awarded from this synopsis. The U.S. Air Force, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base (SJAFB), has been tasked to identify potential sources, market capabilities and market conditions that has the capability to fulfill a requirement at Seymour Johnson, AFB, NC. The requirement is as follows: Model 5076 Calibrator for Aircraft Tire Inflator Assembly Kits or Equal An or Equal product must have: -Two standard pressure gauges: 0 to 300 psig, 0 to 600 psig with accuracy of at least +/- 0.083% Full Scale -Cylinder (Plenum chamber) with greater than 140 cubic inch interval volume. The North American Industry Classification System is 334519-Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing. Reimbursements will not be made for any cost associated with providing information in response to the sources sought or any follow-up information request. The purpose of this source sought is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of members of both the Small Business Community, to include Section 8(a), Historically Underutilizes Business Zones (HUBZone), Service Disabled Veterans-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), and Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Business's (EDWOSB) to compete for this requirement. Any information received will be reviewed for informational purposes. The type of solicitation to be issued will depend upon the responses to this sources sought synopsis. The Government must determine and ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of interested, capable commercial companies.
