There is only one manufacturer of the US150EAHOT-36 Cold / Hot dimpler. Columbus, AFB is authorized to locally purchase 1 ea. NSN: 3448-01-413-7023, Dimpling Machine, ST from U.S. Industrial Tool Company only. This equipment is required to perform sheetmetal work as required by aircraft Technical Orders for the T-38C aircraft. The Hot Dimpler we currently have is unservicable and the unit is obsolete. The Hot Dimpler we would like to local purchase is vital to providing safe reliable aircraft for the14th Flying Training Wing mission. A small business set aside will be used in this contract action.
