This is a sole source award to Tescan USA, Inc. This requirement is for one (1) new, turnkey scanning electron microscope (SEM) manufactured by TESCAN equipped with an Energy Dispersive X-Ray Spectrometer (EDS) manufactured by Oxford Instruments. This equipment will be used for analysis of materials by the 802d Maintenance Support Squadron at Robins Air Force Base (AFB), Georgia. The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, shipping and travel necessary to remove one (1) existing SEM with EDS, and assemble and install one (1) new SEM with EDS. This includes verifying the accurate and functional operation and interfacing of all items and providing basic operator familiarization training to Government personnel.
