Responses to this notice will assist the Government in identifying potential sources for a Small Business (SB) set-aside for the solicitation, and in determining whether or not this approach to secure contracting support is practicable. Respondents are advised the Government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this Sources Sought. Responses to this notice will not be returned. Any future solicitation, including specifications and/or drawings, will be made available only on the beta SAM website (https://beta.sam.gov). Interested parties are solely responsible for monitoring the aforementioned website for the release of a solicitation package and/or any updates and/or amendments. The 502d Contracting Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA)-Randolph, Texas is conducting market research to determine the existence of interested SB sources for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 238210 - Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors. The small business size standard is $16.5 Million. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to obtain information on qualified and experienced contractors capable to engineer, furnish, install and test (EFI&T) new premise wiring, removal of all existing premise and copper backbone cabling, relocation of government furnished equipment (GFE) wireless access points, and procurement of new network equipment for an administrative Hanger at JBSA Randolph. Newly installed premise wiring will provide unclassified Local Area Network (LAN) and Voice Connectivity for Government personnel. The 502d Contracting Squadron, JBSA-Randolph, TX anticipates a period of performance up to 60 calendar days. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS OR QUOTES; therefore, in accordance with FAR 15.201(c) any responses to this inquiry will not constitute nor will be considered as contractor offers, and no contract will be awarded as a result of this inquiry. This information will be used by the 502 CONS/JBKCA for market research purposes, only, and the submitted information will not be returned. Submitted information will be protected in accordance with DoDD 5400.11, Department of Defense Privacy Program, and DoD 5400.11-R, Department of Defense Privacy Program, and no feedback will be provided regarding submissions or the total number of submissions received. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this request for information, as the government is not liable for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this request. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to query the market for potential interested, capable, responsible, and qualified commercial small business offerers that may perform the stated requirement. The government is interested in collecting market data/information in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10, from potential sources that have the capability to provide the required services. The Government will conduct an industry day/site visit on 25 March 2022 at JBSA-Randolph, TZ. JBSA-Randolph, TX is not an open base and you must have a valid Department of Defense credential3.
