The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine availability and capability of qualified Small Businesses, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Woman Owned Small Businesses, or HUB Zone Small businesses. Responses to this notice will be used for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government. This notice is intended strictly for market research. This procurement will be advertised under North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 333415, Air Conditioning and Warm Air Heating Equipment and Commercial and Industrial Equipment Manufacturing.” The small business size standard for NAICS code 333415 is 1,250 Employees. Scope Summary: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to: a. Remove and properly dispose of the existing Walk-In Refer equipment in Building 860, Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), Randolph, Texas 78150. b. Replace with a new Freezer Unit that meets the customer’s salient characteristics inside Building 860. Existing electrical power to be reused. There are no provisions for any modifications to the building or building’s mechanical service except where noted. There are no provisions for any fire systems work. A site visit will be scheduled in the future in order to take dimensions of the walk?in Refer Unit. The contractor shall complete this entire project within 60 calendar days after contract award. See the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS), the Building 860 Interior drawing, and the Salient Characteristics for this project. Project Description The 502d Contracting Squadron intends to award a firm fixed-price, commercial contract for this Walk-In Refer replacement project, located at Building 860, Randolph Air Force Base, Texas pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The winning Contractor will be selected through a best value selection process.
