UPDATE: 08 Sep 2020 Questions and Answers 1. Is all equipment proposed supposed to be new or will factory refurbished equipment be accepted? As long as the equipment still comes with the same warranty, we have no issues with a factory refurbished piece of equipment. 2. PWS requirement 2.1 regarding mail dimensions; this appears to be a mix mail sorter but in the introduction (PWS Section 1) requires a letter sorting system. Please clarify if this is a mix mail system or a letter mail system that is being asked for? We require a letter sorter for primarily letters and postcards, but would like the option to run flats (8” x 11”) through the system as well, even if they must be processed in landscape format. 3. Will a single tier system be accepted as long as it fits within the space required in section 2.7 of the PWS? Yes, no issues.
