This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation F3H3G2_CE_Hot_Taps is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2019-03 (effective 12 July 2019). This procurement is a 100% Small Business set-aside IAW FAR 19.502-2 (a). The NAICS code is 238220, Product Service Code J045 and the small business size standard is $15 Million. The following commercial items are requested in this solicitation; CLIN 0001 - Hot Tapping of 16" Fire Main for Blocked Line Troubleshooting The contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, special tools, expertise, supervision, and services requested to fulfill the requirements of this contract. 1. The Contractor shall provide the required mechanical tee fittings and valves to be used for the hot taps. The Contractor will provide the hot tap machines to be used. 2. The Contractor shall perform/provide labor and equipment for two 16"x2" 300# hot taps. The Contractor will perform this work in one working day on Base. The contractor will install the hot taps and testing valve, and be on hand while CE shop personnel test for flow and pressure. The Contractor will remove the hot tap machines at the completion of the work. 3. The Contractor will be on hand to provide any needed instruction while CE shop personnel perform nitrogen leak testing of the hot tap fittings.
