Pre-Solicitation Notice: The purpose of this synopsis is to provide notification of the Government’s expected solicitation release set for the date of, on or around, Tuesday 14 February 2022. The solicitation number will be FA448422Q0006. This requirement will be a Small Business set-aside. Procurement Description: The 87th Contracting Squadron, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey is procuring a new requirement for non-personal services in the form of sports officials, referees, umpires, scorekeepers, and timers for all Intramural and youth sports events hosted by the Sports Office, 87th Force Support Squadron, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. The Period of Performance will be one 12 month base period and four 12 month option periods. The solicitation will result in a new Firm Fixed Price contract awarded to the lowest priced quote that meets the minimum requirements of the government. Description of Services: The contractor shall provide qualified personnel, in accordance with the required national sports associations for basketball, flag football, soccer, volleyball, softball/baseball adults and youth governing bodies to officiate, referee, umpire, and perform scorekeeper and timer services for all scheduled games at Joint Base McGuire Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey in accordance with the attached draft performance work statement (PWS). ***Please note that this notice does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ). *** The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 711219, Other Spectator Sports, with a small business size standard of $12 million. Upon release to the public, the RFQ, as well as any amendments, will be available at the SAM website https://sam.gov/. The RFQ will specify the actual date and time for receipt of quotes. The RFQ must be downloaded from SAM. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed and no telephone request for paper copies will be honored. In accordance with FAR provision 52.204-7, all Contractors doing business with the Department of Defense shall have an active registration in the System for Award Management database at https://sam.gov/.
