Pre-Solicitation Notice: The purpose of this synopsis is to provide notification of the Government’s expected solicitation release set for the date of on or around Aug 26 2024. The solicitation number will be determined. This requirement will be a 100% Small Business set-aside. Procurement Description: The 87th Contracting Squadron, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ is procuring a new requirement for supplies in the form of a modular rest area purchase and installation at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ. The delivery date for this acquisition will be within 120 Days of award. The solicitation will result in a new Firm Fixed Price contract awarded to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror. Description of Services: This supply is for a modular rest area purchase and installation at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ IAW the attached Statement of Work (SOW). The contractor shall provide and install a modular rest area to provide rest to workers and to meet the needs of the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. The contractor shall meet the exact specifications listed in the attached SOW. The delivery period is within 120 of award. ***Please note that this notice does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ).*** The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332311, Buildings, prefabricated metal,and manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 750 employees. Upon release to the public, the RFQ, as well as any amendments, will be available at the SAM website https://sam.gov/. The RFQ will specify the actual date and time for receipt of quotes. The RFQ must be downloaded from SAM. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed and no telephone request for paper copies will be honored. In accordance with FAR provision 52.204-7, all Contractors doing business with the Department of Defense shall have an active registration in the System for Award Management database at https://sam.gov/. Please note that the solicitation response date will be noted in the actual solicitation when posted. Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
