The 42d Contracting Squadron, Maxwell AFB, AL, is seeking sources that can provide or render services that meet the requirements of the attached “draft” Statement of Requirements (SOR) to support the needs of the 908th Maintenance Group, Maxwell AFB. All feedback and information received may be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy. NOTES OF IMPORTANCE: 1. This is not a solicitation; further, a solicitation does not exist for this requirement. This is a sources sought; do not submit proposals. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this sources sought. 2. If the Government decides to pursue a solicitation, portions of your responses to this sources sought may be incorporated into the final solicitation. Respondents are discouraged from submitting any information deemed competition-sensitive or proprietary. 3. Respondents will not be reimbursed for any costs incurred in responding to this sources sought. Information submitted will not be returned to the respective respondents. 4. Oral submissions of information will not be considered in response to this sources sought. The Government is seeking the capability of small businesses to meet this requirement. We are particularly interested in finding small business manufacturers and their small business resellers. In order to assist the Government in developing the acquisition strategy, please provide the following information: 1. GENERAL INFORMATON: a. Company name, address, point of contact, voice, and fax telephone numbers and e-mail address. b. Type of business, (i.e., small, small disadvantaged, woman-owned, Hub Zone, serviced-disabled veteran-owned small business, large business, etc.), under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) NAICS 333923, CAGE Code, and DUNS Number. c. Under which NAICS code does your company usually provide the requirements described in the attached SOR. Please provide rationale for your answer if different from NAICS 333923. d. Please describe any customary commercial contract terms or conditions that you feel would make any resulting contract more effective if applicable; if you have an active GSA Advantage contract, would you be able to provide the specified goods or services through that vehicle, the open market, or both? 2. CAPABILITIES: The Government is seeking qualified, experienced sources interested in providing the items identified in the attached draft SOR. Please address the following regarding your capabilities in meeting the requirements contained in the attached “draft” SOR: a. Is your company capable of meeting this requirement in accordance with the attached Statement of Requirements (SOR)? Please respond “Yes or No.” b. If your response to question 2 (a) above was “Yes,” please state whether your company manufactures’ the item you will provide to meet this requirement. c. If your company does not manufacture the item, will you utilize a small business manufacture to complete at least 50% of the manufacturing process? If yes, please provide information used to determine the small business manufacturer’s size utilizing NAICS 333923. 3.
