GENERAL INFORMATION The 42nd Contracting Squadron, 50 LeMay Plaza, Bldg 804, Maxwell AFB, AL has a requirement for the purchase and installation of Parade Field Fans for Officer Training School (OTS) described in the Statement of Objectives (SOO) (see Attachment #1) for OTS physically located at Maxwell AFB, AL 36112. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this procurement is F2XJA89227AW01 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses (see Attachment #2) are those in effect the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2019-05, Defense Publication Notice (DPN) 20190809, and Air Force Acquisition Circular (AFAC) 2018-0525. The 42d Contracting Squadron, Maxwell AFB, AL, is seeking Small Business sources that can provide two (2) each high volume low speed fans with installation for the use of the Parade Field located on Maxwell AFB in accordance with the attached Statement of Objectives (SOO). All feedback and information received may be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy. NOTES OF IMPORTANCE: 1. A solicitation does not exist for this requirement. This is only a sources sought synopsis, so please do not submit proposals. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this sources sought. 2. If the Government decides to pursue a solicitation, portions of your responses to this sources sought may be incorporated into the final solicitation.
