INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Voyager Software Maintenance The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL intends to award a sole source contract to Ex Libris (USA), Inc. 1350 E Touhy Ave., Ste 200E, Des Plaines, IL 60018-3307 for the purchase of Voyager Software Maintenance. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 511210 and the small business size standard is $38.5 M. Description of the Requirement: Ex Libris (USA), Inc. will provide annual maintenance for Voyager integrated library system (ILS) software, Voyager citation server software, Oracle DBMS license required by the Voyager software, as well as 68 Voyager staff client software from Ex Libris (USA) Inc. Minimum requirements are for basic on-call software maintenance via toll free telephone number, e-mail or web for the Voyager ILS, to include bug/software problem fixes, software enhancements, upgrades, and revisions, with associated documentation, technical assistance and diagnostic support. and distance learners. IMPORTANT NOTES: 1. This is not a request for quotes and no solicitation is available. 2. A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received in response to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. 3. Respondents are discouraged from submitting any information deemed competition-sensitive or proprietary. 4. Respondents will not be reimbursed for any costs incurred in responding to this intent to sole source (ISS). Information submitted will not be returned to the respective respondents. 5. Oral submissions of information will not be considered in response to this ISS. This sole source procurement is under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This will be a firm-fixed price contract for a base period of performance of 1 Feb 2019 to 31 Jan 2020 with one (1) one-year option period.
