GENERAL DESCRIPTION The 42nd Contracting Squadron, 50 LeMay Plaza, Bldg. 804, Maxwell AFB, AL has a requirement to purchase audiovisual (A/V) equipment for the Air University Library (AUL) in Montgomery, AL 36112. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This official announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes will be requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. SITE VISIT: A site visit is scheduled for the AU Library, 600 Chennault Circle, Bldg. 1405, Maxwell AFB 36112 on Wednesday, 13 Sep 2023, at 2:00PM Central Daylight Time (CDT). Participating offerors must arrive at the Maxwell Blvd Gate, Visitor's Center at Maxwell AFB, AL NLT 1:30 PM CDT to receive a visitor's pass. Offerors will be escorted by the 42d Contracting party both on and off the installation. The official site visit party shall leave the Visitor's Center NLT 5 minutes before the scheduled site visit begins. Please provide a list of all attendees and ensure they have their driver's license, proof of vehicle insurance, and vehicle registration. All attendees' names will need to be submitted by Tuesday, 12 Sep 2023, at 12:00 PM CDT. In addition to the attendee’s name (as reflected on their driver's license), include title and a telephone number for each individual. Submit the requested information to Ms. Tatyana Webb at tatyana.webb@us.af.mil and Mr. William Stallings at william.stallings.1@us.af.mil. Offerors are encouraged in this site visit to take steps as it may be reasonably necessary to ascertain the nature and location of work and the general and local conditions that can affect the work or cost thereof. This shall be the only authorized site visit for this requirement. Failure to attend will not relieve offerors from the responsibility for estimating properly the difficulty or cost of successfully performing the work. The Government will assume no responsibility for any understanding or representation concerning conditions made by any of its officers or agents prior to the execution of the contract, unless included in this RFQ, the specification, or related documents.
