GENERAL INFORMATION The 42nd Contracting Squadron, 50 LeMay Plaza South, Maxwell AFB, AL 36112-6334, has a requirement to purchase a Library Research Database subscription for the Air University. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this procurement is F2XHE11098AW02 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses (see Attachment 2) are those in effect in the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 202106 effective 12 Jul 2021, DFARS Changes as of 9 Jul 2021. The 42d Contracting Squadron, Maxwell AFB, AL, is seeking sources that can provide ProQuest Database Subscriptions (see attached Statement of Requirements (SOR)) for Air University Library (AUL) at Maxwell AFB. All feedback and information received may be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy. NOTES OF IMPORTANCE: 1. A solicitation does not exist for this requirement. This is only a sources sought synopsis, so please do not submit quotes. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this sources sought. 2. If the Government decides to pursue a solicitation, portions of your responses to this sources sought may be incorporated into the final solicitation. Respondents are discouraged from submitting any information deemed competition-sensitive or proprietary. 3.
