GENERAL INFORMATION The 42nd Contracting Squadron, 50 LeMay Plaza, Bldg. 804, Maxwell Air Force Base (AFB), AL requires the procurement of large collaboration area chairs for the Air Command and Staff College (ACSC) at Maxwell AFB, Montgomery, AL 36112. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this procurement is F2XHC12115AW01 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses (see attachment #2) are those in effect in the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2022-06, Defense Publication Notice (DPN) 20220428 and Air Force Acquisition Circular (AFAC) 2022-0502. A Firm Fixed Priced Award will be made in accordance with the following: NAICS/Size Standard: 337211/ 1000 EMP IMPORTANT NOTES: THE GOVERNMENT IS SOLICITING FOR “OPEN MARKET” QUOTES ONLY. GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION (GSA) QUOTES OR OTHER GOVERNMENT-WIDE ACQUISITION CONTRACTS (GWAC) QUOTES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. ALL PRODUCTS MUST BE NEW: NO REFURBISHED OR USED ITEMS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. THIS REQUIREMENT IS BEING SOLICITED AS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET- ASIDE. NATURE OF ACQUISITON ACSC requires updated chairs for its newly renovated collaboration area. The style of chairs will allow faculty, staff, and students to use a desk for an IT device, writing surface or as a meal space.
