The purpose of this amendment is to update the following: a. Quotation Preparation Instructions, Paragraph 5, Part I – Technical, Conceptual Level Design to state “The offeror shall provide a fully developed conceptual level design that conveys a turn-key, whole office solution that meets the requirements of Attachment 1 - Statement of Objectives, Paragraphs 3.0. – 3.3, to include all sub-paragraphs.” All changes to this amendment are identified by highlighted text below. b. GENERAL INFORMATION The 42nd Contracting Squadron, 50 S. LeMay Plaza, Bldg. 804, Maxwell AFB, AL has a requirement for a comprehensive interior design, purchase, and installation of furnishings to support the Air University (AU) eSchool of Graduate Professional Military Education physically located at Maxwell AFB, AL. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this procurement is F2XHC10013AW01 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses (see Attachment #3) are those in effect in the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2020-05, Defense Publication Notice (DPN) 20200114 and Air Force Acquisition Circular (AFAC) 2019-1001. A firm fixed priced contract will be awarded in accordance with the following: NAICS Code: 337214; Size Standard: 1,000 EMP IMPORTANT NOTES: ALL PRODUCTS MUST BE NEW: NO REFURBISHED OR USED ITEMS WILL BE ACCEPTED. THIS REQUIREMENT IS BEING SOLICITED AS A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. ONLY QUOTES RECEIVED FROM SMALL BUSINESSES WILL BE REVIEWED. NATURE OF ACQUISITION This acquisition is for the comprehensive interior design, purchase, and installation of furnishings for the AU eSchool of Graduate Professional Military Education. This procurement will be awarded under FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. SCHEDULE OF SUPPLIES/SERVICES The offeror shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, and supervision to provide the following items: CLIN 0001: Interior Design in accordance with (IAW) Attachment 1 - Statement of Objectives (SOO) CLIN 0002: Furniture IAW Attachment 1 - SOO CLIN 0003: Installation of Furniture IAW Attachment 1 SOO DELIVERY INFORMATION AU eSchool for Graduate Professional Military Education 51 East Maxwell Blvd, Bldg. 678 Maxwell AFB, AL 36112 SITE VISIT In lieu of a site visit, videos are available through Google Dive, https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1vBR7RpBNmULNXsYxculYcZiCVGR49EB-?usp=sharing, of the facility, to include but not limited to, depicting the building layout with facility access, general feel of the space, and location of amenities (i.e. electrical outlets, data drops, door, windows, etc.). Offerors are encouraged to review the video and take steps as may be reasonably necessary to ascertain the nature and location of work and the general and local conditions that can affect the work or cost thereof. Failure to do so will not relieve offerors from the responsibility for estimating properly the difficulty or cost of successfully performing the work. The Government will assume no responsibility for any understanding or representation concerning conditions made by any of its officers or agents prior to the execution of the contract, unless included in this RFQ, the specification, or related documents. All pertinent questions to the video shall be submitted by e-mail to the Government points of contact listed below by 13 April 2020 at 2:00 PM CDT.
