Maxwell AFB, AL requires the purchase of 74 twin extra-long (XL) mattresses and mattress covers, and 74 twin XL box springs for the pipeline enlisted student dorm rooms and Fire Department bunkrooms in accordance with (IAW) the Statement of Requirements (SOR) paragraph (para) 2.1.1 – 3.3 (see Attachment 1). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in the attached notice. This official announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes will be requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued.
