Department of the Air Force, Air Education and Training Command (AETC), 42d Contracting Squadron, Maxwell AFB, AL 36112 will issue a solicitation on or about 03 November 2021 for the 42d Civil Engineer Squadron to acquire horticulture services at Maxwell AFB. The 42d Civil Engineer Squadron is seeking a contractor to serve as the horticulturalist/landscape designer and greenhouse plant nursery manager to include planning, design, coordination, direction, and performance of a wide variety of horticultural, arboreal, floricultural, and in coordination with the COR and Grounds Maintenance Supervisor, grounds maintenance duties to improve/maintain beautification of Maxwell/Gunter installations in accordance with (IAW) the Performance Work Statement (PWS). This requirement will be solicited competitively using 100% small business set-aside in accordance with (IAW) FAR 6.101(b). The proposed solicitation will be assigned the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 561730 (Landscaping Services), with a size standard of $8,000,000.00. A firm-fixed-price (FFP) contract is contemplated with a period of performance consisting of one (1) base year and four (4) option years. The Government intends to evaluate offers and award this contract without discussions. Therefore, the offeror’s initial proposal should contain the offeror’s best terms from a price standpoint. The offeror's proposal response shall consist of two (2) separate parts; Technical Proposal and Price Proposal. The solicitation is projected to be issued on beta.sam.gov, https://beta.sam.gov.
