AMENDMENT 0001 1. The purpose of this amendment is to update Attachment 1 – Statement of Objectives – Dorm WiFi, Paragraph 2.5, to read “All network cables, jacks, plugs, etc., will be clearly marked “Public WIFI.” All changes to the SOO are identified by highlighted text. 2. Additionally, this amendment extends the response due date and time from 24 July 2020 to 29 July 2020, as a result of questions and answers (separately posted). All changes to this amendment are identified by red, highlighted text. 3. GENERAL INFORMATION The 42nd Contracting Squadron, 50 LeMay Plaza, Bldg 804, Maxwell AFB, AL has a requirement to establish the installation of guest Wi-Fi/common area internet service into Buildings 696 and 697 located on Maxwell AFB and Building 1410 located on Gunter Annex, AL, as described in the Statement of Objectives (SOO) (see Attachment #1) for 42d Civil Engineer Squadron Unaccompanied Housing Office, physically located at Maxwell AFB, AL 36112. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this procurement is F2X0A50169AW01 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses (see Attachment #2) are those in effect the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2020-07, Defense Publication Notice (DPN) 20200605, and Air Force Acquisition Circular (AFAC) 2019-1001. A Firm Fixed Priced Award will be made in accordance with the following: NAICS Code: 517311; Size Standard: 1,500 employees A site visit is scheduled for Buildings 696 and 697 located on Maxwell AFB and Building 1410 located on Gunter Annex, AL on Thursday, 16 July 2020, at 10:00 AM Central Daylight Time (CDT). Offerors should be at the Maxwell Blvd Gate, Visitor’s Center at Maxwell AFB, AL at 9:30 AM CDT to receive a visitor’s pass. Please ensure attendee has their driver’s license, proof of vehicle insurance, and vehicle registration. Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, the Government is requesting that only one person attend the site visit from the company. Please provide the attendee’s name by Wednesday, 15 July 2020 to Ms. Monica Philpot, monica.philpot@us.af.mil. Offerors are encouraged to visit the site and take steps as may be reasonably necessary to ascertain the nature and location of work and the general and local conditions that can affect the work or cost thereof. Failure to do so will not relieve offerors from the responsibility for estimating properly the difficulty or cost of successfully performing the work. The Government will assume no responsibility for any understanding or representation concerning conditions made by any of its officers or agents prior to the execution of the contract, unless included in this RFQ, the specification, or related documents.
