The 56th Contracting Squadron intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price sole source award to Monaco Enterprises, Inc.,14820 E Sprague Ave, Spokane, WA, 99216-2191 in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 -Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Part 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Monaco D21 Redundant Server/Client and network switches at Fire Station #2 have exceeded life expectancy and no longer meets the Air Force operations and cyber-security requirements. Monaco is the sole vendor who builds, maintains, and services the system. Monaco Enterprises Incorporated (MEI) is the original manufacturer and service provider for the D21 system, which is primarily comprised of proprietary software developed by MEI and MEI licensed vendors. MEI retains exclusive ownership of the software and does not allow third parties to alter or add to it. The proposed equipment was selected for its compatibility with the existing Monaco System and the required specifications supplied by the customer. While other equipment may meet the customer's required technical specifications, it would not be compatible with the existing Monaco System for the specified integration request and would invalidate any current warranties in effect. Therefore, no other products from other manufacturers would offer the same functionality.
