This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Notice (market survey). This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise to issue a solicitation or award a contract. All future requirements solicited on a Government Point of Entry (GPE) will be evaluated independent of any information submitted in response to this notice. No vendor will be provided information on solicitations issued on a GPE based on this request. Small businesses are invited to answer this market survey to determine market capabilities. 56 CONS at Luke AFB, Arizona is conducting market research to determine the existence of potential sources to provide custom shell reamers in order for the Metals Technology Shop located at Luke AFB to manufacture a new tool kit to repair an area of F-16. In order for potential sources to gain access to the Custom Shell Reamer drawings, sources must hold an active DD2345, which in this particular case, allows a Contractor to view controlled drawings. These drawings will give a detailed picture of the equipment that the government is requesting, and the contractor must be able to reverse engineer, machine, and manufacture this equipment base on the provided drawings Note: Please submit an electronic response indicating the following information: Your capability to supply custom shell reamers.
