This RFI does not constitute an Invitation for Bid or a Request for Proposals, nor should it be considered as a commitment on the part of the Government. (SEE ATTACHMENTS) Further, the information collected by means of this market research will be exclusively used to help guide the acquisition strategy of this requirement; therefore, contractors are encouraged to participate in the attached survey and provide the data corresponding with this sources sought. This requirement entails installation of commercial Internet Service Provider (ISP) circuits at two (2) locations within JBSA-San Antonio, and provide monthly Internet Services for a 12-month base year and two option years. The 502d Contracting Squadron issued a combined synopsis solicitation in support of the Air Force Services Center (AFSVC) requirement, where two Data Centers require a connection to the Internet. An interconnection between the Data Centers is required to provide near real-time replication of data and server information along with electronic transport off-site of backup storage to the alternate data center. The Contractor must provide services that comprises of all installation of equipment & auxiliary components, labor, management, and service requirements necessary to provide the Internet services. There is a Statement of Work for this requirement. The competition approach is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.
