The Government is only conducting market research and attaining information to identify potential contractors that are able to provide all items listed below. The Government is requesting industry to provide feedback to the questions below to determine how to best proceed with procuring the required services. All information provided is STRICTLY VOLUNTARY. The Government anticipates the need for the Structural Fire Training Facilities (SFTF) & Aircraft Fire Training Facilities (AFTF) at Joint Base San Antonio-Fire Emergency Services; Operating Locations- Lackland, Randolph, and Fort Sam Houston to be inspected, tested and maintained to ensure its serviceability and prevent deterioration in operational effectiveness. The services will also include preventative maintenance. All three operating locations: JBSA-Lackland, Fort Sam Houston, and Randolph have Class A burn rooms within their SFTF’s. OL-Randolph also has a LPG burn room as part of its SFTF which has different requirements. This scope of work consists of a team with a support trailer dedicated to Fire Training Facility work, and tools and equipment to perform all general inspections required of Aircraft Fire Training Facilities. This service will also consist of servicing all valves and making minor repairs so that the facility operates properly and safely. This work will also consist of performing fire training evolutions with the fire department to assure that the facility is fully functional and to help base personnel understand the facility systems. Please see the attached Draft PWS for further details on the requirement and Request for Information (RFI) to complete the questionnaire. Responses due Wednesday, 7 July 2021, 10:00am Central
