**Please see attached package for full details** The Government anticipates a need for Airfield Runway Friction Testing at Joint Base San Antonio, Texas on a regularly scheduled basis. The requested support will provide services on four runways at three geographically separated installations (JBSA-Lackland (Kelly Field), JBSA-Randolph, and JBSA- 1.1.1.4 Randolph Auxiliary Airfield at Seguin. In performing airfield runway friction testing, the United States Air Force follows guidance as published by the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) per FAA AC 150/5320- 12C runway friction surveys should be conducted at a minimum of once per year. Friction surveys shall include an evaluation utilizing Continuous Friction Measuring Equipment (CFME). A complete survey shall include test runs at both 40 miles per hour (mph) and 60 mph within ten feet on both sides of the centerline.
