SOURCES SOUGHT 18TH CONTRACTING SQUADRON KADENA AB, JAPAN Subject: X-Ray Maintenance Note: This notice is being posted as a “sources sought.” A formal solicitation may or may not be posted at the discretion of the contracting officer. The government is contemplating a requirement for X-Ray machine maintenance. The estimated performance period is one (1) base year plus four (4) option years. NAICS: 811310- Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance PSC: 6665- Hazard detecting instruments and apparatus Contractors who are interested or capable of providing X-Ray machine maintenance on the below listed equipment should respond electronically to A1C Tahj Guilford via email at tahj.guilford@us.af.mil (ALT: Michael Burkett, michael.burkett.3@us.af.mil) by Dec 17 2019, 2:00 PM (JST). This sources sought should not be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for any information submitted in response. Respondents will not be notified of the results of any government assessments. No awards will be issued as a result of this Sources Sought. The 18th Contracting Squadron does not intend to award a contract on the basis of responses nor otherwise pay for the preparation of any information submitted. As a result of this Sources Sought the 18th Contracting Squadron may issue a Request for Quote (RFQ). Equipment Description: Astrophysics passenger baggage screening x-ray machines, model XIS-7858 1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and replacement parts necessary to accomplish preventive/as required maintenance for Passenger Baggage Screening X- Ray Machines (Astrophysics passenger baggage screening x-ray machines, model XIS-7858). The contractor shall provide a copy of the initial and annual radiation surveys to the Passenger Terminal Point of Contact (POC), in contractor format, as well as affix a copy to each machine. The contractor shall respond and provide technical support within two hours of initial notification of an inoperable x-ray machine, Monday – Friday 0700 – 1930 JST.
