This is a sources sought notice; there is no solicitation available at this time. Requests for solicitation will receive no response. This Sources Sought notice is published for market research purposes only. This market survey is conducted to identify potential sources capable of meeting the requirements for providing (1) Hoist & Crane Inspection, Repair, and Testing and (2) Inspection, Maintenance, and Repair of Hangar Doors & Tail Enclosures. A draft Statement of Work (SOW) is included to provide respondents a better understanding of the needs of Hurlburt Field and the respondent's potential ability to meet the Government's requirements. Please keep in mind that the attached draft SOWdoes not define the final requirement. DETAILS: Firms responding to this announcement shall indicate whether they are a large or small business. All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be awarded a DoD contract. The National American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this action is 811310 and the small business size standard $8M. Prospective contractors are cautioned to ensure that the proper NAICS code appears in SAM. All interested parties shall submit a capabilities package. Interested contractors shall submit up to a maximum 5 page capabilities document. The capabilities package shall be brief and concise, yet clearly demonstrate an ability to meet the stated requirements. Include the following in your statement of capabilities: 1. Company Name 2. Address 3. Point of Contact 4. Telephone number 5. E-Mail Address 6. CAGE Code 7. Web Page URL (if available) and 8. Small business size certification if applicable Please submit one (1) electronic copy of your response to daryle.byers@us.af.mil no later than 1 July 2020 at 2:00 PM Central Daylight Time. CONCLUSION: The Government will neither award a contract solely on the basis of this synopsis nor will it reimburse the contractor for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. This synopsis does not constitute a Request for Quote/Proposal, nor does this issuance restrict the Government's acquisition approach. The Government reserves the right to reject in whole or part any industry input as a result of this announcement. If the Government decides to award a contract for this effort, a solicitation will be issued at a later date.
