The well is located in the Dog Canyon area south of Alamogordo,... CLEAN FRENCHY I WATER WELL 1. The Contractor shall clean the Frenchy I water well. This well is 991' deep with a 15" diameter casing. 2. The well is located in the Dog Canyon area south of Alamogordo, about 0.75 miles northwest of Oliver Lee State Park. The GPS coordinates are 32.7537 N / 105.9260 W. 3. Clean the interior surface of the casing to remove the hard water deposits and any other debris that may be present. The entire depth of the casing shall be cleaned. This shall be accomplished by mechanical brushing. For the purposes of this contract, the Contractor shall bid for twenty (20) hours of mechanical brushing. 4. The bottom 100' of the casing is filled in with sediment deposits. Remove this sediment using sand pumping. For the purposes of this contract, the Contractor shall bid for twenty (20) hours of sand pumping. 5. All material generated by the cleaning operations shall be removed from the casing. This material may be dumped just outside of the fence. 6. Video the inside of the casing after the cleaning is complete. Put the video on a DVD and submit it to the Contract Administrator. 7. Perform any other work as required to properly clean the well.
