THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to identify interested firms capable of performing installation of rock wall (bouldering area) flooring in the Fitness Center on Grand Forks AFB, ND for the U.S. Air Force. Responses shall include the following: List of experience(s) with similar work (type and scope) to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and points of contact with phone numbers. Firms interested shall provide the above documentation via e-mail to nicholas.cameron.3@us.af.mil no later than 3:00PM Central Standard Time, on Tuesday, 31 August 2021. All information submitted shall be in sufficient detail and will be used to assist with determination of the most appropriate acquisition strategy. Responses shall be limited to no more than two (2) pages total. Failure to submit all information requested will result in a firm being considered “not interested” in this requirement. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in conjunction with FAR 4.11 required registration in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) database prior to award of a contract. _______________________________________________________________________ This is a sources sought synopsis for written information from all parties, especially small firms interested in the upcoming acquisition for rock wall flooring installation in the Fitness Center at Grand Forks AFB, ND. The information is requested for market research and is not a solicitation announcement for proposals. No contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. There is no solicitation available at this time. Responses should focus on your firm's technical and financial capability to provide technical and management services for the rock wall flooring installation as described below. Standard publicity brochures are not particularly desired. Responses to this synopsis will be used for market research to determine under what, if any, set aside procedures this acquisition will be conducted. Please include the size of your business and any planned teaming arrangement. Small businesses including veteran-owed, service disabled veteran-owned, HUBZone, disadvantaged, and women owned, as well as other small businesses are particularly invited to respond. The current considered NAICS is 326299, All Other Rubber Product Manufacturing, and the corresponding size standard is 500 employees. The contracting officer invites comment from industry as to whether a product warranty of five years would encourage or discourage firms, especially small businesses, from submitting an offer; and if so, please explain why. There is no recent or relevant previous acquisition for this requirement. Interested firms should submit information on their experience and capabilities for performing the above stated requirements.
