AMENDMENT 02- Revised PWS This amendment is to add a revised PWS. Any greensand filter media material that is provided must meet performance requirements set by manufacturer's technical manual (Hungerford & Terry, Inc.) and meet NSF-61 criteria for drinking water. All media must be a like-for-like for existing media. If not like-for like change-out, prior approval from ADEC drinking water engineering group would be required prior to loading and use of new material. The Hungerford and Terry loaded greensand is 215 CuFt of GreensandPlus (Eff. Size 0.3-0.35mm / UC<1.6) and loaded anthrocite is 200 CuFt Anthrocite (Eff. Size 0.6-0.8mm / UC<1.6) in each filter. The WTP has six parallel greensand filters. Other competitive greensand and/or anthrocite will need thorough testing by the vendor and approval through ADEC prior to loading and use.
