The 96th MDG requires Laser 2D Barcode Etching of 35,000 surgical instruments for the marking and tracking their future and current equipment into the CensiTrac System. They also require training of this service to two individuals at the MDG to train them in using the Laser Etching machine and scanning the instruments into the system. This will allow them to train other members in the MDG to perform the same tasks. After surgical instrumentation have been commissioned into the product catalog, all surgical instrumentation will be scanned into the appropriate count sheets to ensure accountability for scanned instrumentation within each count sheet. After surgical instrumentation has been scanned into the appropriate a photo will be uploaded to help ensure proper visualization of instrumentation.
